Virtual RF medium (AirBus)

Priority 5 - Connectivity & Radio Hardware / 5.2 Radio / wireless transceivers

As a connectivity firmware developer, I want vemu's virtual RF medium to apply realistic path-loss/RSSI, so that multi-node radio simulations behave like real airwaves (node A's transmission is heard by node B with a believable signal level).

Why it matters

Multi-node radio sims (node A TX heard by node B)

Summary

2.4 GHz broadcast + per-channel routing

Scope of work

Partially modeled. Complete the missing mechanics of Virtual RF medium (AirBus). What it is: 2.4 GHz broadcast + per-channel routing. Why it matters: Multi-node radio sims (node A TX heard by node B).

Current state

Status: Partially implemented. Notes / evidence: vemu-air channel + wildcard broadcast routing (verbatim frame delivery); path-loss/RSSI NOT applied (synthesize_rssi exists but is dead code; rssi_dbm always 0).

Funding this also clears the way for the work below.
