STM32U5 series (Cortex-M33, TrustZone)
STMicroelectronics STM32 program
As an embedded developer, I want vemu to model STM32U5 series (Cortex-M33, TrustZone), so that I can build and test firmware that needs Boot and test secure STM32U5 firmware (TF-M, TrustZone) long before the hardware is in hand.
Why it matters
Boot and test secure STM32U5 firmware (TF-M, TrustZone)
Summary
Secure ultra-low-power STM32U5 MCUs (Cortex-M33 TrustZone, GTZC, OCTOSPI, graphics on U5F/G, crypto)
Scope of work
Not present today. Deliver a behavioral model of STM32U5 series (Cortex-M33, TrustZone). What it is: Secure ultra-low-power STM32U5 MCUs (Cortex-M33 TrustZone, GTZC, OCTOSPI, graphics on U5F/G, crypto). Why it matters: Boot and test secure STM32U5 firmware (TF-M, TrustZone).
Current state
Status: Partial. Notes / evidence: Fully wired on the modern SoC path (crates/vemu-st/stm32u5 + crates/vemu-soc-st), Nucleo-U575ZI-Q and B-U585I-IOT02A boards boot; many peripheral models are register-level and need behavioral depth.
