ARMv8-A (AArch64) core support

Raspberry Pi / Broadcom program

As a firmware developer, I want vemu's ARMv8-A (AArch64) core support to stay accurate, tested and documented, so that I can keep depending on single dependency target for every ARMv8-A core (Cortex-A53/A72/A76).

Why it matters

Single dependency target for every ARMv8-A core (Cortex-A53/A72/A76)

Summary

AArch64 ISA + MMU + EL routing + LSE atomics + ASIMD/FP + system regs + generic timer bundled as one core-support unit

Scope of work

Already implemented. Harden, broaden coverage, add tests and documentation for ARMv8-A (AArch64) core support. What it is: AArch64 ISA + MMU + EL routing + LSE atomics + ASIMD/FP + system regs + generic timer bundled as one core-support unit. Why it matters: Single dependency target for every ARMv8-A core (Cortex-A53/A72/A76).

Current state

Status: Fully implemented. Notes / evidence: AArch64 base is implemented across vemu-arch-aarch64; this umbrella aggregates the funded ISA-feature stories.
